ABOUT US

The Center for Advanced Studies occupies a three-story, Victorian, brick building on Philadelphia's prestigious Delancey Street, just off beautiful Rittenhouse Square, bordered by the the Curtis Institute and The Philadelphia Ethical Society. The Center is approximately 1/2 mile from The University of Pennsylvania and Drexel University. Funded by a gift from the Hubsher Foundation for the Humanities and other philanthropic organizations and individuals, the Center provides an environment where promising scholars can reside while pursuing innovative research without the financial, scholastic, and political pressures of traditional post-graduate and post-doctoral programs.
